Data Act - what you should not overlook
The Data Act opens up access to data generated by smart devices. Users gain a right to the data their devices generate and can easily share it with a third party.
Manufacturers and service providers must make the data available in a machine-readable format, provide advance information about how it will be used and enable a seamless switch to another provider. In exceptional circumstances, the data may also be made available to public institutions.
Grants for the IP Scan service and trademarks are back! You can apply from 2 February 2026.

AI Compliance - Do you develop or use artificial intelligence?
The European Union is adopting the world's first rules on artificial intelligence (the AI Act). The AI Act defines the framework that developers, providers, distributors, importers and even certain users (in particular you, entrepreneurs using an AI system in your business) must follow.
The AI Act clearly says "no, thank you" to systems that could place you on a socially undesirable list, manipulate you or monitor you without authorisation. It lays down rules for high-risk systems, including transparency obligations.
